Amidst the turbulent times of the COVID-19 pandemic, I stumbled upon a fascinating world of diode lasers through online videos. Intrigued by their potential, I decided to dive in and purchased a basic diode laser. Little did I know, it would mark the beginning of an exciting journey.
Exploring the capabilities of the diode laser was pure joy, but I soon realized its limitations—it couldn't cut acrylics and was rather slow. Nonetheless, my passion for personalized gifts persisted, leading me to contemplate starting my own venture in 2021. Thus, Orner Engraving was born, albeit briefly.
However, life had other plans in store for me. A change in my job forced me to put my entrepreneurial aspirations on hold. Then, the arrival of my second daughter added to the whirlwind of responsibilities, keeping me occupied with the joys of parenthood.
Yet, the dream of running my own personalized gift business never faded. In December 2023, an opportunity presented itself as I finally secured a space to bring my vision to life. Equipped with a CO2 laser machine offering greater capabilities, I knew it was time to give my dream another shot.
Starting small, I ventured into the world of e-commerce through platforms like Etsy. The response was encouraging, fueling my determination to take my business to new heights. And now, with the launch of our very own website, dandeliongifts.com.au, I am filled with excitement and anticipation.
